As a proactive and talented lady in both academic and extracurricular activities at APU American International School, Buu Van continued to affirm her self-worth during her university and career journey. Graduating from APU, Buu Van enrolled at The University of Texas at Austin and graduated with Highest Honors in Biochemistry. With these impressive academic achievements, Buu Van was invited to be a Teaching Assistant during her time at the university. After then, Van continued to complete Master’s Degree in Biotechnology at Northwestern University with a GPA of 3.97/4.00.

Currently, she is working as a Senior Operations Supervisor at AbbVie - a company belonged to Abbott Laboratories, one of the world's leading providers of healthcare products.
