After years of conquering academic peaks and achieving a brilliant career in the United States, Ho Hoang Phuc (Tin Ho) has returned to visit APU International School - the place that nurtured his dreams and aspirations.

Phuc Ho, also known as Tin Ho, the APU valedictorian of 2013, is a shining name on the list of APU alumni achievements.

After graduating from APU with outstanding grades, Tin received a full scholarship to the University of Missouri, Kansas City (UMKC). In the US, Tin has a proud academic journey with impressive degrees:

Tin is not only a great pride of the APU family but also the eldest brother in a family of two talented siblings who have followed in his footsteps in pursuing higher education.

Ho Hoang Duy - Tin's younger brother and also the APU valedictorian of 2014, has continued to achieve success in the United States: Full scholarship from UMKC, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Dean's International Scholar Award (DISA) scholarship, Hack-A-Roo programming competition winner two years in a row (2019, 2020), UMKC Student Council member, graduated with "Summa Cum Laude" (Excellent) and "UMKC's Honors Graduate" (Honors Graduate) from UMKC Honors College. He is working at the Assitant Professor at California State University, Fullerton.

Tin also has a younger sister who was the APU Salutatorian in 2020 - Hoang Phuong Uyen, who is currently studying at US and is expected to achieve great success in the future.

The success of the Tin Ho family comes not only from their innate academic abilities but also from the "American-standard" education environment at APU, which provides a solid foundation of knowledge, essential soft skills, and a dynamic learning environment, helping them develop comprehensively in knowledge, skills, and personality, allowing the three students to confidently enter the wider world and achieve success. "APU was the "perfect bridge" for me to quickly adapt to life in Kansas. Thanks to the classroom discussions, I have honed my critical thinking skills, explored different perspectives, and improved my English speaking skills," Tin shared about APU and the positive impacts on his study abroad journey in the US.

Even though he has left APU, Tin's story continues to be a great source of motivation for many generations of APU students. Wishing Tin, Duy and Uyen continued success on their journey ahead and always cherish fond memories at APU. You are always APU's pride.
