1st Prize at International Olympiad Mathematics BBB Competition and 2nd Prize in English category at Future Intelligence Student Olympiad Competition. That is an outstanding accomplishment of a such young student - Le Tien Minh, a 3rd-grade student at APU American International School - Bilingual Program.
Both competitions are organized by well-known Olympiad centers from the USA and Hong Kong, bringing together hundreds of talented contestants from around the world. Aiming to encourage students of all ages to broaden their horizons and advance their critical thinking and practical applications of theoretical knowledge, these competitions challenge the students with tough tasks that require deep understanding.
With a firm foundation built by being exposed to the American standardized curriculum and hands-on activities at APU from Pre-Kid, Tien Minh is equipped with critical skills and the confidence to participate in such large-scale contests. Regarding her son’s accomplishment, Tien Minh’s mom shares: “One of his advantages when taking part in the Mathematics Olympic BBB is his English skills which are developed and boosted when learning the Advanced English learning lessons at APU. He is also really confident and puts lots of effort into preparing for the contests. I’m very pleased that thanks to the active learning environment, my son is always eager and looking forward to the lessons at school. I want to give a big thank you to APU and teachers for always assisting and helping my son to receive the best education.”
With a long journey ahead to thrive, APU hopes that Tien Minh will continue learning, discovering, and conquering even greater milestones in the future.
