Recently, Dr. Trần Nguyễn Thy Bình and the APU Educational Development Group - including APU American International Schools and the American University in Vietnam - AUV -  were honored at The AmCham Vietnam ESG Impact Showcase 2025 for the outstanding contributions in advancing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives.

The year 2025 marks the third consecutive time that APU and AUV have received this prestigious recognition from AmCham Vietnam. The ESG Impact Showcase is an annual event celebrating member organizations that demonstrate excellence in ESG practices. This year, APU and AUV were once again recognized in the “Social Impact” category for notable initiatives such as: Advance Academic Excellence, Empower Underprivileged Students, and Foster Global Citizenship.

These efforts have contributed to building an internationally standardized learning environment and promoting collaborations with leading universities worldwide, creating a strong foundation for students to access global knowledge.
This year’s event continued to attract a significant number of participating organizations, with a judging panel consisting of experts from AmCham, representatives of the U.S. and Vietnamese governments, media agencies, and professional institutions.

The award from AmCham is not only a valuable recognition but also a motivation for APU and AUV to continue integrating ESG principles into their long-term development strategies. In the coming period, both institutions will further expand international cooperation, invest in research and innovation, meet the demands of the Industry 4.0 era, and contribute to the sustainable development of Vietnam’s human resources.
