Dr. Roger Nibler

Dr. Roger Nibler joined APU in November 2011 as the interim principal of the APU High School. Prior to his administrative role, he served APU during the past four years as an educational consultant.

Background:

Dr. Nibler has BS and MBA degrees from Oregon State University in the US. He received his PhD in Management at the University of Oklahoma in 1974 and has taught for a total of 44 years at the Oregon State University, University of Oklahoma, Pacific Lutheran University, and Portland State University in the US. He has published numerous articles and attended several academic conferences throughout the world. In addition to teaching, Dr. Nibler had an active consulting practice from 1976 - 2004 serving a diverse client base. He taught at two universities in Hong Kong from 1990 until 2000 and is a permanent resident of Hong Kong.

Interests:

Dr. Nibler's interests include serving as an Arboretum tour guide for 22 years, traveling, cooking, fitness training, and the performing arts (classical music and opera). He also continues to be active in the management research area and has recently published two articles in academic journals.
