Nicholas G. Mason

Mr. Nicholas G. Mason currently serves as the 4th grade teacher at APU International School.

Background

A Midwestern native through and through, Mr. Mason had never left North America before coming to Vietnam. His background comes from a love of music starting in his hometown of Osceola, Indiana near Notre Dame in South Bend. In his early years, he would listen to the same songs over and over and would memorize where the music would take him. He picked up euphonium in 6th grade and started his deep exploration into the one of best languages humans have created. Through his studies took him to Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, where he graduated. Since then he has been in a variety of positions in the United States, teaching nearly every subject, with the most time focused on music and math.
