Social Science Instructor
John Bohlman
John Bohlman joined APU in August of 2007 as a social science instructor. John’s goal at APU International High School is to encourage students to apply to American universities and to assist students with the academic preparation that will ensure their acceptance into those universities.
John taught middle and high school English in Montana and New Mexico for four years and taught writing at Montana State University and New Mexico State University for two years. Before serving as an educator, John was a practicing attorney for nineteen years, specializing in criminal law as an elected prosecuting attorney. The most memorable event in John’s prosecutorial career occurred in 1995 when he testified in Washington, DC before the US Senate Subcommittee on Terrorism.
John has earned both a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and a Bachelor of Science in Education with an English Major from Montana State University as well as a law doctorate degree from the University of North Dakota.
