Dr. Hoang Nguyen

Dr. Hoang Nguyen has been a senior lecturer and administrator at APU since 2006, teaching psychology, mathematics and statistics. He has more than 40 years of teaching experience at both the high school and university level. Prior to working at APU, Dr. Hoang has served at senior faculty positions at many institutions, such as Hong Bang University and Hue University. He earned a Bachelor of Education degree from Hue University, a Masters of Education degree from Ohio University, and a PhD. in Education in Psychometrics from the University of Southern California. Dr. Hoang was also awarded a Post Doctorate Fulbright Scholar Scholarship from Indiana University in Bloomington. He has published over 25 books and scientific articles and was a former member of the Master’s Degree Defense Committees at the School of Education, Hue University, and at the Technical Pedagogical University.
