APU currently operates two campuses in Ho Chi Minh City:
Middle and High School Campus
Elementary School Campus
Located in District 11, this campus houses the middle and high school comprising grades 6 to 12. Campus facilities includes a science laboratory, separate music and art rooms, a canteen, a library, computer labs, a book store, a sports auditorium, an assembly hall and over 60 modern classrooms. Classrooms are fitted with a work area for the homeroom teacher, projectors and desktop computers.
There is also a separate boys dormitory and girls dormitory for students whose families do not live in Ho Chi Minh City. The dormitories include round the clock supervision and a dormitory big brother/big sister program to provide boarding students guidance, support and a healthy regime of daily activities.
Recently APU expanded the middle high school and built an eight story building adjacent to it’s current campus. A sky bridge connects one building to the other on each floor.
District 11 is five kilometers away from District 1 and the school’s campuses are situated in the district center on Lanh Binh Thang St. and Lac Long Quan St.
Also located in district 11, the K-5 campus includes a laboratory, music and arts rooms, a canteen, library, computer lab, and a sport court. Classrooms are fitted with a teacher work area, projectors and desktop computers.
APU International School offers a boarding program for students who either do not live in Ho Chi Minh City, or students who want to participate in the boarding school experience. Our dormitory facilities are located within five minutes walking distance from the school campus.
A number of senior staff members are appointed as dorm parents and dormitory students also have a big brother or big sister that is appointed by the school. The dorm parents take quasi-parental responsibility for students in the house at all times, particularly outside school hours.
All dorms have a lounge and kitchen area for students to socialize, do homework or make snacks. Each dorm bedroom houses either one or two boarders. Each bedroom is furnished with queen sized beds, dressers, wardrobes, end tables and desks. The APU Student Life team works hard to make each dorm feel homey, secure and comfortable for our students.
Dormitory services for boarding students include the following:
- Round the Clock Security
- Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
- Tutoring Support and After School Academic Guidance Program
- Extensive After School and Weekend Activities Program
- Big Brother and Big Sister Program
- Room Cleaning and Laundry Service
- Early Morning Exercise Program
