Kevin Moll

Kevin Moll has served as the Vice Principal at APU International School since the start of the 2009 academic school year. Before joining APU, Kevin taught English at public schools in Gifu Prefecture in Japan, started the English program for a Japanese School in Thailand and later took an interest in television production, eventually become a studio teacher and worked for television, film and live theater productions. In this last role, he balanced the needs of children of all ages with those of their parents and the production. As an expert in child labor law, he consulted producers to ensure full compliance. His work has carried him around the world to more than thirty-three countries including Vietnam.

Kevin was born in Rhode Island, raised in Indiana and spent his first year outside the US in Tokyo as an exchange student at the age of seventeen. For his undergraduate degree, he enrolled at Columbia University in New York, spent his third year at Nagoya University and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in East Asian Studies and Anthropology. He later attended the University of Southern California for a master’s degree and teaching credentials.
