Alex Nguyen

Alex Nguyen is currently the Head of Mathematics Department at APU International School and has five years of teaching experience, both in the United States and abroad. Before working in Vietnam, Alex taught mathematics and science for Quality International Schools in Sanaa, Yemen and also taught mathematics for SIATech Charter Schools in Florida, where he received the most improved award in mathematics. Prior to teaching, Alex worked as a chemical engineer, software engineer and a business development director at various engineering firms. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Florida and is certified by the state of Florida to teach mathematics, chemistry and computer science.
