Middle School (6-8)

Each student in the Middle School is encouraged to develop a sense of their individual strengths as they learn new material and master new intellectual, social and physical skills. Through a variety of subjects, students reason logically, communicate their thoughts clearly, and use factual information to test and support their ideas. The curriculum takes into account the varying rates of speed at which children mature and APU is as concerned with the personal development of its students as with their intellectual growth.

High School (9-12)

The curriculum for the high school program at APU International School is modeled after those of the top prep schools in the United States. By emulating this system, our school ensures that students receive not just an American education but also a competitive one.

The faculty at our school seek to provide students with a robust yet diverse education through instruction in four core subjects—language arts, mathematics, science, and social science—as well as supplemental and peripheral subjects such as English as a Second Language (ESL) and computer science.

Within each subject, students are challenged with specific topics in order to develop knowledge and competencies that will not only prepare them for university education in the United States but also serve as the basis for further academic scholarship. [Note: "scholarship" here means, "learning," not "grant"].
